Romsey Abbey Probus Club is a social club for fully or semi-retired professionals and businessmen.
Probus Clubs are neither a charity nor a fund-raising organisation. They are non-sectarian, non-political, non-profit, and autonomous.
Our Club has been established for thirty years in the centre of Romsey. We have twenty-five members from Romsey and its neighbourhood.
Our Club exists for the enjoyment of its members. Its objective is to promote and encourage a spirit of friendship by holding monthly meetings and occasional social activities. We welcome members from all sections of the community.
OURVENUE
Our monthly meetings are informal. We usually have a talk from an invited speaker followed by a buffet lunch. Talks cover a wide spectrum of topics from lifestyle, travel, history, to engineering and more. Our meetings last about two hours. We also have luncheons and coffee mornings and occasional social events to which our partners and friends are welcome.
If you would like to join us you will be welcomed as our guest for three meetings at which point you can decide to join our club.
